DAM
NSTRA Champion Tekoa's Rising Angel - Whelped-May 28, 2000 - OFA Good - Microchipped - DNA on File and Certified
Angel is a 40 lbs white/orange female with a very sweet personality. She is medium-heavy ticked in the face and has light-medium ticking on the body. Angel has a super nose, retrieves and backs naturally. She is the worst enemy for the running, unsettled wild pheasant. And even more deadly on single quail. She has had prairie chickens and sharptail grouse shot over her. Angel hunts on a string with hand signals. She is a mature and conscientious mother. Her pups have good noses. In her first full day of NSTRA field trialing, she placed in every brace- 2nd amateur field, 3rd open field(A), and 3rd open field(B) in one day. Angel is a NSTRA Champion. Angel is a daughter of Hall of Famer/Champion Tekoa Mountain Sunrise and a granddaughter of Hall of Famer/Champion Hicks Rising Sun. Angel's dam, Tioga Golden Girl, is also the dam of the Herman F. Smith Derby Award Winner in 2002. The Orthopedic Foundation For Animals evaluated Angel's hip joint confirmation as good with no evidence of hip dysplasia. Angel is registered with American Field's Field Dog Stud Book. Click here for pictures, pedigree and field trial record for Angel.
